You may have a corrupt view and need to reset the views using /cleanviews,
especially if you customized the Messages view.

I have used the 'customize views' and the 'Define Views' and MY Outlook
2007 will not accept the changes I'm making there.
I know how to use the fields and the grouping and the sorting etc., etc.,

I'm not trying to do anything fancy. I just want my Inbox to be 'Arranged
By: Date' and stay that way - expanded.
It goes to 'collapsed' and 'Arranged By: From' everytime I move away from
my Inbox folder.
I check on a date - go back...collapsed and arranged by from.
I go to Define View, change the way it groups and it goes back to
collapsed and arranged by from.
Same with Customize View.
Same with 'View/Arrange by:/Customize.

Right now Customize/Define view is configured: Groups - none, Sort -
Received...but my Inbox does 'collapsed' and 'Arranged By: From'.
That's what I mean about my configurator not working. I guess I don't need
to know how to do it, but how to fix it .
