You can insert scripting into your HTML message to point to a music file on the web (use Ctrl+F2 to see the scripting in this message) although many users disable scripting and only view messages in Plain Text.

OE only supports .wav and .mid files in the background. There are some
tools out there that converts MP3s to a .wav or .mid. Do a search.
