Problem Scheduling appt's, meeting's, and event's in 2007 Cale
Hmm...I'm not sure how the Start and End fields would have been switched to
Created, but it's not the default setting. Thanks for posting your solution
:-)

I'm just a novice with Outlook 2007, so bare with me. This turns out to be a
setting option rather than a problem with OL.
Under the calendar Tool menu, then Organize, I selected "Using Views", then
selected "Customize Current View" in the top right hand corner. And under
the "Fields" tabs, I was able to change the "Start and End" fields for the
Date/Time. One way or another, the user managed to change both "Start and
End" fields to "Created", which caused all appointments, events, and
meetings to be place under the current date. I changed "Start" to Start, and
"End" to End, and this gave me the outcome I was looking for.
I'm not sure if this is the default setting for the "Start and End" fields,
but so far it's working.

What was it? Others having the same problem would probably appreciate you
posting your solution.

I found the answer to my problem in an earlier post on this site.

I'm using office 2007 professional plus, and I just recently started
having problems with the "date" when scheduling meetings, app.'s etc.
Today's date is 10-14-08, and take for instance I schedule an
appointment
for 11-21-08, the date shown in the appointment window is 10-14-08, not
11-21-08. And if I click "save and close" it will place the appointment
on
10-14-08. If I change the date to 11-21-08 before saving, it will still
place the appointment on 10-14-08, but with an appointment date of
11-21-08. I am connected to an exchange server, maybe its a problem on
the
server?
So, no matter what day of the year I choose to create an appointment,
it
will place the appointment on the current date, which today happens to
be
10-14-08. Tomorrow it will place all appointments on 10-15-08.
Can anyone help with this problem. I've installed all the latest office
updates, and I am currently installing WinXp Pro SP3, not sure whether
this has anything to do with the problem or not.
Thanks in advance,
Alvin
