Navigation Pane width doesn't do anything, still missing letters. I

Two other things to try. One is to delete the file yourprofilename.xml in
the (hidden) folder
%AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook (where "yourprofilename" is the name of your
mail profile) and the other is to try running Outlook once with the
/resetfoldernames command line switch.

Brian, deleting the .xml didn't do anything. But running from the
command line with the /reset opened Outlook exactly right!
Unfortunately, when I closed Outlook and opened it with the shortcut,
the names were back to missing letters.

I created a shortcut with the /reset switch, and it works fine, just a
second longer to open Outlook - is there any harm or danger in using
this? Or any other ideas?

Really appreciate your help and feedback.
