Default Installing outlook 2007 to evaluate- isn't installing

You need to uninstall the older version of outlook before installing the new
one. This is because you can only have 1 version of outlook installed at a
time.

I have 2003 installed and face the same problem. Outlook 2007 does not
seem
to install.

What did you do?

I am trying to evalate Outlook 2007 to see if I can get the google
calendar
sync to work- when I install my trial office 2007 everything but Outlook
installs. I have outlook 2000 installed and am currently using that- is
that
why?

When I go thru a custom install when I click the outlook options,
everything
has a red x. Can anyone advise? Thanks!
