Default File Names missing last letters - Marti

Marti wrote:

Brian, deleting the .xml didn't do anything. But running from the
command line with the /reset opened Outlook exactly right!
Unfortunately, when I closed Outlook and opened it with the shortcut,
the names were back to missing letters.

Then try opening Outlook once with the /safe command line switch and post
back with the results.

I created a shortcut with the /reset switch, and it works fine, just a
second longer to open Outlook - is there any harm or danger in using
this? Or any other ideas?

Do you have any add-ins? While I don't think the /resetfoldernames will
hurt anything, you shouldn't need it every time you run Outlook.
