Default Save Message As

OK. I am using XP/SP2 and the pop up window does open in the upper left
corner, but I can see it all. If I move it, it will open in the new place
until I close and reopen OE. Are you having problems seeing a part of the
box?

The only things I can think of is to make sure you are fully patched at
Windows Updates, and to create a new identity.

You may have a damaged identity. File | Identity | Add New Identity. Create
a new one and test it. If all is well, you can import your messages from the
old identity and delete it.

When using Outlook Express and you have opened a mail, by hitting the
'Save
as' tab it opens a Popup window. It is this popup window that I wish to be
"Non-Docking".

"Docking" is when the popup window always goes to the top left hand of the
screen.

Windows '98 only docked on commencement of a sesion, once dragged to a new
position it remained there, until 'Outlook Express' was shut down and
restarted.

Windows 2000 "Docks" all the time, and you have to keep on dragging it out
the way to view the Headers of the mail.

I date and time stamp all mail.

Can you elaborate about * non-docking*? I'm not familiar with the phrase.
And, what exactly you want to save.

Hi,

Whilst using Windows '98 I became accustomed to the non-docking feature
of
the "Save Message As" feature whilst using "Outlook Express".

I would like to set up my Windows 2000 Professional using Outlook
Express
6.0 to do the same (non-docking). Is it Possible?

Thanks.
