Default Recover Deleted Appointments

You can make a calendar for each person and color the calendars. (in vista's
calendar)

Unfortunately I didn't have a backup. I think it was caused by uploading
the
calendar info to a cell phone, and for whatever reason it deleted some old
appointments. I have the auto archive set so that it should not delete any
old data. I am not using the vista calendar as it doesn't appear to allow
for
setting a different colour for each member of the family's appointments,
which is an important feature in our household.

If they were deleted from the deleted items folder, they are gone unless
you
have a backup. Are you using AutoArchive to clean the calendar and
deleted
items folder?

Is there a reason you're using Outlook and not the Vista Calendar?
Outlook
is overkill if you just need calendaring.

I am using Outlook 2002 on a Vista system. I only use the calendar
partion
of
outlook. For some reason many of my old appointments were deleted from
my
calendar. They were in my deleted items folder, but I tried to move
them
back
to my calendar, but unfortunately they were deleted from the deleted
items
folder. Any way to get back those appointments? I keep reading about
an
exchange server. Not sure what that is, or if I even have one on my
home
PC.
Thanks.
