Default Same problem here

I usually receive pictures in my e-mails, but the last one I received only
has boxes with little res "X"s where the pictures should be. It's a
forwarded message. The person that forwarded it can see the pictures, but I
can't

Peter,

Thanks for your reply.

I have Message format set to HTML. I changed it to Rich Text but this did
not fix the problem. In any case, Message format applies only to outgoing
message composition and has no bearing on the presentation of incoming
messages.

Does it appear in Plain Text mode or in HTML. Is your Outlook set to Rich
Text(RTF). If it is then change it to HTML or Plain Text

I'm using Outlook 2007 and IMAP. In Trust Center -- Automatic Download,
I
have "Don't download pictures automatically..." unchecked. Am I missing
some other setting that would prevent pictures from appearing? I see
pictures when I access my e-mail at the ISP's web interface or when I
forward Outlook e-mail to accounts that I access using other e-mail
client
software.

Thanks much for any assistance,

David
