Default Outlook cannot logon in a VM (Windows 2003 R2 SP2) ESX server

Are you using Exchange? If not, then why did you select it?

Go to Control Panel-Mail Icon-Accounts and remove the Exchange account and
add your POP3 account.

After furious head scratching, asked:

| I am updating from office 2000 to office 2007 and I can not get
| outlook to work. I get the message microsoft exchange not available.
| How do I verify the outlok is on line and how do I verify that I am
| using the correct server and mailbox names?
