Default Common Files copying to get OE6 started

After I installed XP +SP3 I redirected the Program Files folder to a
different hard drive. When I went to run Outlook Express for the first time
it gave the 0x8007007e, 126 error message and would not start. In the
registry I then changed:

%programfiles%\Outlook Express\ (etc.) to C:\Program Files\Outlook
Express\ (etc.)
and

"%programfiles%\Outlook Express\" (etc.) to "C:\Program Files\Outlook
Express\" (etc.)

Outlook Express still would not start. I then read that a solution was to
copy the Common Files folder to the Program Files folder in the other hard
drive.

After I did this Outlook Express started and is running well.

My question is whether there would have been a simple folder in the Common
Files to move or copy over without having to copy the whole Common Files
folder which in my case took 3 minutes!
