Default Saving a picture in Outlook 2007

When I right click the image I get a dialog box with the choice of
'copy' the image. The copied image cannot be pasted into the My Pictures
folder. The image that appears in the My Pictures folder calls the
'paste' a Scrap. It cannot be opened as a picture.

Before when I right clicked the image a dialog box came up that allowed
me to Save As. Then a dialog box came up that allowed me to save the
picture in a folder in My Pictures.

The image appears to be embedded. Try pasting into your favorite
image-handling software, like IrfanView or Picture Maker and then saving
from there.

Brian,

Thanks for your help. I was not able to paste it into IrfanView. Sometime
ago I was able to click on the pictures sent to me in Outlook 2007. However,
I am no longer able to do that in 2007. Was there a security patch that
disallows this function?

In Outlook 2003 I can click on the picture and a the a dialog box opens that
allows me to save a picture and put it into a folder in My Pictures.

I have looked in the Options section of Outlook 2007 and cannot find
anything related to pictures. I have used Outlook 2007 help and I cannot
find anything about saving a picture that is included into the text of the
email.

This is turning into a mystery. People send lots of email to me with
pictures included in the text and I can no longer save them.

I am still searching for a way to save these pictures.

Leigh
