Are you viewing this in Drafts, or Sent Items? Define "highlighted text".
What do you see if it isn't highlighted?

Tools | Options | Compose & Tools | Options | Send | Mail Sending Format |
HTML Settings. Are both machines set up identically? Are both machines
reading in HTML? Tools Options | Read. Uncheck Read all messages in Plain
Text on both computers.
