This problem is not unique to my primary
computer.

I set up this same email account at ATT.
YAHOO. COM on another computer that never had
an email account.

The account was successfully installed and
succeeded logging in and sending the test
message.

The test message did not appear on that
computer's OUTLOOK inbox nor did it appear on
this machine's inbox.

Just a thought - do you have to TELL Yahoo that
you want to access via POP? In ordinary Yahoo
accounts you have to do that. In Yahoo webmail
it's in Settings-POP and Forwarding...

I spoke to ATT today ...they belive it's a Yahoo
problem and have referred it to them. I found NO
way to get any Yahoo support.

36 to 48 hrs she said.

I got a call back from an AT&T person that solved
the problem in minutes

Under Bellsouth I have a primary email address and
"sub-addresses"

In the Bellsouth system, when I used my
"sub-address" I was required to login to the pop3
server using my primary email address.

Under AT&T U-verse I am required to login to the
pop3 server using the "sub-address"
