Default How do I config Outlook 2003 to connect to OWA accessible Exch

Bill, does that mean that the ports and security used by and IE browser using
OWA are not the same as those used by Outlook2003 and 2007 when configured
for HTTP ? If they are different, what precisely should I ask my vendor to
do?

Due to security reasons, we only allow access to our Exchange 2003 server
via
HTTP through OWA via the Internet. I would like to use Outlook2003
configured for HTTP to access this server when remote as well. I've got
the
client to work perfectly with a HTP hotmail mail box, but when selecting
Other, and using a fully distinguished name, it still fails. I tack on
the
/exchange to the server name too. Still no Joy. I've also tried the same
on
my laptop using Outlook 2007 to no avail. Am I ****ing up a rope here????

Your IT people will have to tell you how, if it'allowed.
