Hello Diane,

I haven't set the calendar up yet, I'm researching the best way to do it,
but you've raised a good point about the rules. After doing a little digging
in the Rules and Alerts box, I'm not sure if this will work the way I need it
to. We may have to think outside the box and use something other than
Outlook. I've spoken with our tech guys and they've suggested using
Sharepoint, so I'm going to keep your suggestions in mind while I continue to
investigate the possibilities.

Is the shared calendar in the Resources mailbox? You can set up a rule to
forward the meeting request to both. You'd need to open the mailbox in
outlook and set up the rule. Or they can just open the calendar in their
profile and review it.

Yes, sorry, I should've specified that we are, indeed, on an Exchange
server. We've actually got Sharepoint, but it hasn't been utilized very
much, and I've been thinking that that may be a better tool for what I

to do.

it so that they get the notification, I'd just like to establish that I

to know when this resource is booked, as well, as I am responsible for

use and logging.

If Microsoft Outlook 2007 isn't capable of doing anything like this,
does
anyone have any ideas on how I could accomplish this? Perhaps another
program or an application, an add-on of some sort? The only other way
would
be for me to have to notify these two people by e-mail every time
someone
books time in the shared calendar and, while I *can* do that, it's not
the
ideal situation.
