After furious head scratching, cjlatta asked:

| when looking on Tools menu to configure the address book to be last
| name, first name order, I only see Tools/accounts, not
| Tools/services. Where do I find the services and/or how do I "fix"
| the address book? Contacts are listed in the preferred last name,
