Okay - I did it (re-associated pdf with AR) Now (as before) all pdf files
open with AR - except in OE where it still reports Unknown file type.

Actually, the association is already included in the filetype options -
for pdf files, use Adobe Reader9. So why won't OE recognize this
association?
