Default Contacts and Address pst file

As prevoiusly stated, when you start typing the name in the To box, the
entries that appear are NOT taken from your address book or Contact list,
but from a completely seperate cache file
You can delete eroneous entries by highlighting them with arrow keys and
pressing delete Btn (No mouse input)

The address book is what appears when you click the To Btn

Gordon,
I am somewhat confused but let me tell you what I am looking at. First I
look at my Contact folder in Outlook and check the names in there. I then
go to my address book and check the names in there and they are not the
same. Some names in the contact folder are not in the address book. I also
find I have many dupes and triplicates in the address book. Now when I
start to make up an new email and start writing the address it does use
the name in the contact list. That is I think it is as the name I am
entering is not in the address book. Is there a separate list for the auto
entry? Using Office 2007.

Gordon,
I checked this out and all the names in the contact folder have an email
address in them but some of them are not in the address book. I guess
you have to put the names in both the contact folder and then add them
to the address book. Is there a way to import the contacts into the
address book? That is what I would like to do is just delete all in the
address book as I find there is double and triple entries of the same
person and want to clean up the address book so it has the same info as
the contact folder.

The address Book is just a view of your Contacts folder. Are you SURE you
are talking about the Address Book and not the Autocomplete function?
