Default Loss Of The Views Bar

Outlook has a very useful views command and the ability to create hundreds
of custom views - its on the advanced toolbar and also on the views menu.
If you want to learn more about it, feel free to post a question about
OUTLOOK (and only outlook) in only the OUTLOOK newsgroup. Please do not
cross post to multiple groups when the question is about one product.

Please note that Outlook Express has the very useful VIEWS BAR...

As an option....

Whereas WINDOWS LIVE MAIL does NOT.

OUTLOOK does not appear to have the VIEWS BAR either...

Correct?

This is a nasty and unwelcome trend if Microsoft is trying to PHASE OUT
the
very useful VIEWS BAR, which many of us use scores of times a day in
OUTLOOK
EXPRESS.

Just make it OPTIONAL -- but give us a choice.

We should be Pro-Choice here...

Just as many folks are on the issues concerning Roe v. Wade.

So, all four newsgroups here are relevant to the issue.

Thank you.

Please just don't read posts that don't interest you.

Thank you kindly for your interest in this issue -- and forbearance on
trivial matters.

Unless you have a specific question about outlook (the pim), please don't
cross post your complaints about OE or LM here. You can evaluate the
programs without asking questions about those products in the outlook
newsgroup. The question originally asked in this post is not at all
related to outlook, it does not belong in the outlook newsgroups.

Nope...

Some of us use all FOUR MS products -- IE6, O, OE6 and WLM.

So we are interested in evaluating the ***comparative advantages and
disadvantages*** of all FOUR products -- as we make decisions about
daily
usage of each.

Ergo these newsgroups are relevant and on-topic.

Seconded, strongly!

The loss of the Views Bar, so useful in OE, in WLM is a serious
omission.

It provided Great Convenience as well as Elegant Simplicity and
should
never have been done away with.

This is another serious error demonstrating Basic Technical &
Managerial
Incompetence in the WLM design teams.

The Views Bar should be immediately restored in the very next build
of
WLM.
