Default I can't set up Outlook in Office 2007

Diane,
First, if I could "close" Outlook, I'd be ahead. I can't open it at all. I
tried your sequence. There is no "profile" on properties to delete.

Close outlook. right click on the outlook icon on the start menu and choose
properties. Delete the profile and create a new one for the proper type of
email acct you use.

seconds show how to get to the profiles area.

Office Small Business 2007 came installed on my new computer.
When I try to use Outlook, it starts to configure, and then I get a
message
that "Connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be
online or..." It then takes me to a menu "Microsoft Exchange" with a
General
tab asking for Name of Server and then Mailbox Name.
I have no idea what to enter. So I'm stuck.
Furthermore, it's important that I synch with my BlackBerry but it has to
be
done through Outlook, and that's impossible this way.
PLEASE HELP!
