Default Set up Outlook to read messages

Thanks for answering so quick. I am going to try it again. The problem I have
is that when I get a list of groups, I don't know what they are. All I get
for titles is: "microsoft.public.wind..." I have to subscribe to each one
first, then when it gets moved to the pane on the left side is when I can see
what they are. Then, if it is something I am not interested in, I unsubscribe
from it. Is that the way it works? Or is there some trick to make it easier.
Thanks

They are there. Don't put too much into the search. Type in windowsxp and
you will see the XP groups.

Here are some to get you started.

Windows XP General Newsgroup:

Outlook Express 6 Newsgroup:

IE6 Specific Newsgroup:

Hi Bruce. I am trying to set up the reader from the site you posted. When
I
type "microsoft.public. windowsxp" on the Newsgroup Subscription window, I
get a list of groups that don't look anything like the list that appears
on
the "Windows XP Newsgroups" where I've been going to normally through IE
or
AOL browser. How do I know which ones to subscribe so I can get the same
ones
I usually use?

Example: Windows XP General, Windows XP basics, Windows Update, Internet
Explorer/Outlook Express etc. etc.

By the way, I am the same poster with edimerq name. I changed it.

news Can somebody tell me how to set up Outlook Express so I can access
these
groups from there? I saw a web site about that in another XP
discussionbefore, but I can't find it now. Thanks
