Default Blank message screen

If you can send a message with embedded graphics to yourself and see the
graphics (vs the RedX), the problem's not on your end and there's nothing
you can do about it (with the possible exception of getting your friends to
abandon AOL Mail and/or to stop forwarding messages to you that had been
forwarded multiple times before).

I'm running OE 6 in XP Pro. I occasionally get e mail where I can see a
large blank box with only a small red "x" in the top left of the blank
area.
Clicking on the red x does nothing. I recall that this is a problem
created
by the sender.

Any help for me to open and read these?

Thanks
