I'm sorry, but I don't understand

Please could you elaborate on which pst files I need?

I can probably find them in the various backups but there are at least
17 differently numbers ones.

I am worried about messing it all up at this late stage as it has
taken me 16 days to get to this point.

Is there a guide anywhere to some of this?

I'm sorry but it has been so bad that I think I will need a little
hand-holding.

You're welcome.

It's just the restoration of the data in the 'old' pst files for
e-mails (not 1005 essential but necessary), Contacts (100% essential)
and Tasks (100% essential)

If you add the PST properly, everything in it will be available exactly as
it was the last time it was used in Outlook.
