Default Help with opening .pps files in OE

1: Save the attachment to your HDD. Right click on it and Open With | Choose
Program. Find and choose a program that works and then check the box: Always
use this program to open this kind of file. This should enable you to open
these attachments in the future.

2: Unable to open .PPS attachments directly from Outlook Express using
XP/SP2 or XP/SP3:

Is there a way that I can associate .pps files with Outlook Express 6?
I have MS Power Point Viewer 2003 on my hard drive and it works with
my Mozilla Thunderbird, but not with my daughter's OE.

I have looked in Folder OptionsFile Types and find power point is
shown in the APPLICATION USED TO PERFORM ACTION.

I am perplexed that .pps files can be opened directly in Thunderbird
email, but show the following popup when I try to open the attachment
in OE..."This file does not have a program associated with it for
performing this action. Create an association in the Folder Options
control panel."

Anyone expalnation and assistance would be appreciated,

Mary
