Default Sending .gif Images

Thanks for the quick response PA, I'm using Windows XP SP2, Internet Explorer
6.0.

I have Norton Anti-virus 2009 installed, but I have the out-going email
scanning option disabled.

The total size of the email with the image was only 312KB, without the image
287KB.

This is an on going problem with "animated" .gif images, other forms such as
..jpg, .bmp, and non-animated .gft images are ok.

And yes, I am connected to my ISP.

Please state your full Windows version (e.g., WinXP SP3).

Is this a sudden, new problem or an ongoing one?

What was the total size of the email with the embedded image? ...without
the embedded image?

Were you connected to the internet via xxxxxxxx.net when you got this error
message?

Is your anti-virus application configured to scan outgoing (and incoming)
mail?

I am having trouble sending emails with .gif images "imbedded" into the
body
portion of the email.

If I remove the imbedded .gif image from the email, it will send just
fine.

Here's the error message I get when I try to send the embedded .gif
images:

An unknown error has occurred. Subject 'test', Account: 'xxxxxxx', Server:
'smtpauth.xxxxxxxx.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 5.7.1
n21KsYpt032207 This message does not comply with required standards.',
Port:
25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC69

Any ideas .... fixes?
