Can I get one of you smart people out there to verify something for me?

In Microsoft Office Outlook 2003, a Control-Click is required to follow a
URL in a mail message. Is this a new feature in Outlook 2003? And is there
any way to disable it?

I know that you can disable this feature in Word (Tools | Options | Edit)
but is it controllable in Outlook?
