Default Norton Anti Spam

Do yourself a favor and get rid of Norton all together. It does not work
well with OE, and neither does McAfee.

I use, and recommend, AVG Free:
http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/lng/us/tpl/v5
or:
http://www.grisoft.com/doc/40/lng/ww

When prompted, choose Custom Installation and *uncheck* e-mail scanning when
you see the option.

Norton, and McAfee, products are not Outlook Express friendly, and I don't
know of any OE-MVP that would recommend using them.

Add/Remove does not always get rid of Norton completely.

To remove Norton completely, see:

I have Norton Internet Security configured to run with OE and all has been
well until the last couple of days. Emails from people in my OE address
book
and contacts list have started appearing in the Norton AntiSpam folder
instead of the Inbox. When I try to mark such an email as "not spam" OE
"hangs" and the only thing I can do is end the programme via Windows Task
Manager. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing the problem?
