I'm having the same problem (OE 6). I went to the MS kb 290684 as suggested.
It suggested creating another identity. Did that but still have the same
problem. Tried running OE in safe mode as suggested, but it brought up
Outlet. The final suggestion is to edit the registry - something I really
don't feel comfortable doing. Maybe I could delete my identities? But
remove is grayed out.
