Never import from a PST. INstead, just configure your mail profile to use it.

change the default deliver to location for email account to go to default
Personal Folder?
ToolsAccount SettingsData Files tab. Select the PST you want to be your
delivery location, then click Set as Default. Stop and restart Outlook.
