It is the SENDERS FAULT. Have him/her apply a check mark --

I have Outlook Express 6 and Internet Explorer 7. I received
an e-mail with
red x’s in place of some photos. I right-clicked the red
x’s hoping to find
a Show Picture link in the context menu, but it was not there.
I then clicked Tools, Options, Security tab in Outlook Express
hoping to
find a check in the box labeled Block images and other
external content in
HTML e-mail, but it was unchecked.
I then went to Tools, Internet Options, Advanced tab,
Multimedia heading in
Internet Explorer hoping to find the box labeled Show Pictures
unchecked, but
it was checked.
I then went back to the sender of the e-mail and asked him::
1. To go to
Tools, Options, Send, Mail sending format, click on the HTML
Settings button,
and make certain Send Pictures With Messages is checked. And
2. To send the
e-mail with the embedded pictures to his e-mail address. He
replied that the
Send Pictures box was checked and he sent an e-mail to himself
and the
pictures appeared.
Can anyone tell me what I can do to change the red x’s to
the embedded
pictures?
