Default email too big and can't be scrolled horizontally

Jack,

Great, I'm glad it worked. If the sender wants to send WORD
files to you, it might be better to send them as attachments. Or
convert to plain text files, if he wants to paste into OE.

Doug,

Yes, that worked -- I pasted it into Word 97 and it conformed
to the
margins. Also pasted it into OpenOffice Writer 2.4 but the
text again went
off the page on the right -- although it recognized the left
margin, it paid
no attention to the right. Interesting.

Thanks.

Other than Bruce's answer...if you do a Control A to highlight
the message...do a copy and paste into Notepad, you "may" get
the message in its entirety. It worked for me once. If it is a
screen capture or scanned "image" file and not an actual text
file it most likely is not complete and you wont be able to
read
the right-hand side "cause it ain't there".

I received an email that is too big for the screen and cannot
be scrolled
horizontally to read that part on the right-hand side. Why
can't it be
scrolled over? What causes this in the first place?
