The Blackberry's default configuration is to delete anything two weeks old or
older, I believe. When you sync, your sync software also removes them from
Outlook. Outlook has no control over the sync process. It's all up to the
sync software. Configure your Blackberry to keep old items forever and the
sync software won't remove them from Outlook either.
