Did you try either fix? (#2 is the easiest).

If the boss uses the cache as his address book, shame on him. You can
use one of the tools at
http://www.slipstick.com/problems/nicknamecache.asp to capture the
addresses and add them to contacts.

1. Recreate email profile
2. Close Outlook and rename the *.nk2 file and then open outlook again.

Any more suggestions.
