I'm not aware of anyway to kill the process - I'm not even sure a reboot of
Exchange would stop it.

I was told that we tried this and the renaming process carried over to the
new profile. Also, it's a direct connection to Exchange so no ost.

Help. We have a user with a lot of email that inadvertantly renamed a
Catagory Item and now Outlook 2007 is hung while it goes through every
item making this change. Is there any way to cancel this process either
in Outlook or on the Exchange 2007 server? The renaming process just
starts back up following a reboot / OUtlook 2007 restart.
