Default Contact in Outlook 2007

I have this exact issue... no mail icon in classic view on control panel. I
installed the same way as well. Upgraded to 2007 on my new computer and
transfered with easy transfer from my old computer and office 03. I have
Vista 64 bit.

Thanks Milly. This is a new computer that I installed Outlook 2007. I did
use Windows Easy Transfer to transfer from Outlook 2003 from my old computer.

I am sorry to say that I do not see the Mail Icon in the Control Panel.
Should you see it from the Classic View? Can you give me some more
information?

Thanks!
Rick

How did you install Outlook 2007? Was this an upgrade from a prior version?
Did you migrate your version from another computer? Did you use the Windows
Easy Transfer?

Most common problems occur due to a corrupt profile. Try creating a new one
under Control Panel-Mail Icon-profiles-new. Do not copy the old. Create
a new and associate it with your Outlook Data File.
