Diane, you do realize what you are suggesting? I am supposed to do the work
of MS and receive no pay?

My initial question - am I alone with the noticeably slower behavior with
these new updates?

The initial load should be slow as it needed to update the pst/ost but
after that is should be faster. If everything was installed at once, I'd
probably uninstall some of the updates and reboot. (Windows will reinstall
them later.) As for which updates to uninstall, I have no idea which
one(s) would be the best candidate - maybe all the windows updates?
