Default Outlook 2007 noticeable slower with new updates

I should add an update to my situation.

First, one noticeable difference before and after those recent updates.
Before those updates - when a window inside Outlook 2007 was 'working' to
open, I just saw a delay in the opening of the new window. Now I actually
see the word 'loading' in a white empty window. When I first wrote here
about this delay, the actual delay was almost a full second; now the delay
from say Calendar to Inbox is a fraction of a second though I can still make
out the word 'loading'. So, while the behavior of Outlook 2007 has changed
slightly since those updates, if it weren't for the word 'loading' I
probably would not have noticed any difference.

Since the word 'loading' appears ever so quickly, the overall appearance is
that the new window shakes for a split second before I see anything. It's
that new 'loading' that makes it seem that way.

I would have preferred to have the word 'loading' not appear and just wait
for a split second for the new page/window to load.

That's it. DH

You hare very happy that you have only that problem. Other people get out
of memory errors and cannot access their mails!

I regret already that I installed SP2. Bad mistake.....

I just got back from almost a week away and just installed more than ten
Windows Updates. I see an Office Suite Pack (SP2) for Office was
installed.

This is not a big deal but when I click on In Box when, say, Calendar is
displayed, I see, for a split second, a blank window that states
'loading' or something like that. I _never_ had that very slight delay
before. FWIW, I also have rebooted to see if that might have an effect;
it didn't.

Am I alone with this? I can live with this but I always thought things
got faster .... not s l o w e r.

DH
