Default in new event how do I stop end date updating

I don't know if it's 64 bit. I followed your link to clear the forms cache
but it didn't help. I've since had a posting indicating that it depends
which view I'm using. Weekly view doesn't haver the same problem but Monthly
(which I prefer) does. Looks like I have to use weekly view or put up with
changing the End Date back every time unless there's some way of turning it
off. I wonder what made Microsoft suddenly decide that events needed an
extra day in Monthly view every time?!

I'm using Vista. Events range from 1/2 hour to most of day but nearly
always
starting & ending on same day. In the 'New Event' dialogue box I select
the
start time and as soon as I do the end date changes to the following day
so
that I have to re-select it as the start day.

Version of outlook? Are you creating all day events or timed

What steps are you using when you create the event?

When I enter the start time in a new event, the end date automatically
changes to the following day. How do I stop this happening. Most of
my
events start and finish on the same day so this is very irritating.
