Couple of thoughts...

1) Start Outlook 1 time with the /cleanviews command line switch. This will
delete all custom views and rebuild the built-in ones back to their
defaults.

2) You didn't say where this troublesome PST file is, but it needs to be
located on a hard drive where you have full rights.
