Default File as in address book

This is very close. There seems to be a couple of missing steps or there is
enough difference between 2002 and 2003 Outlook that this fails for whatever
reason.
Using the commands as "landmarks" or "milestones", there is enough
difference that the instructions are close, but not concise enough to get the
desired result.
(Check Step 2 to 3 after heading “How to Design the Custom Form” for
example. Section 4, item d. is ambiguous.)

I have tried it four times with the same results (1 Message, 3 Contacts)

I appreciate the effort. Thank You.

I have a similar question.
I would like to display the detailed adress card with the "Lastname,
Firstname (Company)" on all the card headers with out going into each card
by
hand and changing the "file as" format.
If I copy the contact list out to a ".csv" file format is there a filed
that
cab changed to show this information the same way?
Current display:
Doe, Mr. John
Desired Display:
Doe, Mr. John
Widgets Co.

Thank You

Oliver, Thanks so much. I opened the 2007 link, followed the instructions
and
the address book is now in last, first format.

Hi ibexx,

sorry, it was the wrong Outlook version.

This link is for Outlook 2007:

"Display the Contacts list in last name, first name format"

Maybe it helps.

Outlook 2007, Windows XP Pro with service pack 2: How do I file
contacts
as
"last name, first name"? I selected that format using pull down menu
on
contact properties page however first name - last name format
remains and
doesn't change ot last - first.
