lost flagged message function and column
When you right click on the header pane to see the list of available
columns, is the Flag column in the list? If so, all that may be required is
to change the order in which the columns appear since it sounds like it may
be "offscreen" either to the left or right side (use the Move Up or Move
Down buttons as needed). The addition or deletion of Hotmail account has no
bearing on the problem unless you have some type of malware infection on
your computer (at least not on any computer I've seen including the one that
I'm using now).

I did as suggested and wow, the flag column re-appeared. But my elation was
shortlived.
I set up my hotmail account. Immediately, the flag column went away.
I deleted the HM account from OE, and the flag column came back!!!
Obviously, there's some kind of relationship between OE6 and HM that
suppresses the flag column when HM is set up.

I have the same problem. However it will not work for me. I already knew
about the solution you suggest. I have Right clicked on the Column list
(above the messages) and selected "Columns" But there is no Flag box.
I recently bought a computer with Windows XP installed on it. It has
Outlook Express 6. However the choice for checking the Flag box will
not
work, as there is no flag box under Columns selection. I have been
computing
for years. I have always used Outlook Express. This is the first time
the
Flag box was missing. Can someone tell me how to get it back? I have
spent
over an hour with no solution.
Thanks.

make sure there is a check mark in the box for Flag.

No
one gets paid to help here, and the response rate from those that are
helped
is less than 4-5%. If that were how medical advancements were made we
would
all have died years ago. Thanks.

I seem to have lost the flagged message function and column. Any
suggestions?
