I have checked my user accounts and all sems fine. I have also deleted my
user account and walked through the steps of recreating the user account.
You mean email accounts. right?
You'll need to recreate the mail profile instead;

In addition, reset your outcmd.dat and extend.dat file by renaming them to
..old.

For the last several months I have been running Outlook 2007 on a
stand-alone
basis (not Exchange Server). I have removed Outlook 2007 on my computer
and
have installed Outlook 2000. The install seems to go fine but when I try
to
start Outlook I receive a 'Microsft has encountered a problem and needs to
close.'
I have checked my user accounts and all sems fine. I have also deleted my
user account and walked through the steps of recreating the user account.
I continue to encounter the same problem.
Any help would be appreciated.
