It was a pretty complex procedure, I had to search for quite some info, and
I'm still busy importing the archived data, but up until now, it seems to
work ok.

It appears you have a mail profile corruption and your mail profile needs to
be recreated.
You can do this via Control Panel- Mail

Restarting Outlook does NOT solve the problem, neither does deinstalling
and
reinstalling MS Office (including Outlook). (I've tried both about 10 and
5
times in total). I am not certain about it, but the last thing i might
have
done before noticing no more messages arrived was downloading and
installing
Outlook Connector. I DO receive my Hotmail messages, but none of the
other
accounts that were installed in Outlook before.

I am using Outlook 2003 SP3
