I imported my Outlook pst file at the advice of local computer store
'experts'-how else should I do it?
Do it the way advised hundreds if not thousands of times in these Outlook
newsgroups:
http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/backupandrestore.htm
The default file is Personal folders-'outlook.pst'-the file I transferred.
Also is Archive Folders-new
archive.pst, a folder I use for autoarchiving.
The other is Personal Folders-'New personal folders (1)..I don't knwo
where this one comes from.
I di dnot have duplicate notifications (one from each calendar) until after
the first autoarchiving on this computer. then the second calendar
appeared,
and even if it is not checked and not visible its notices come up with my
calendars notices.
If I were you, I'd start with a new mail profile and connect it to the PST you
want to use and no other.

Set up your autoarchiving from scratch.
