plus gmail has a very good antispam filter. I posted with a gmail address
years ago and yes, it gets a lot of spam but very little hits my inbox.

With all due respect, that is not necessarily true. I have posted for
years using a valid address in both the body and header fields and have
had no particular problem with spam.
