My best guess is different. I suspect the Outlook profile is no longer
writing to the autocompletion cache. Autoresolution probably isn't even in
play here since it isn't even invoked unless autocompletion has no matches.
It usually requires creating a new profile to get autocompletion working
again, then the cache will have to be repopulated.

the name from the address list and sends the email.
The next time the user goes to type the name again it lists the

expect but when the user closes outlook down and then opens it again
and goes to compose an email to a user he has sent an email before it
does not give you the drop down list to select the name.

typin the name again and it remembers and appears.

I have checked a few forums and the best i got was Tools Options
E-Mail Options Advanced Email Options Enable Tick box Suggest names
while composing To. This was already enabled, anyone know anything else
about this setting where the list is remembered from if its a file on
the PC or a registry setting or if its something silmpliar than that?

I could re-create the users exchange profile to see if that fixes it
but i'd rather do that as a last resort if i can't find out about the
files or registry settings?
