Default Sudden shutdown

Office 2007 does not have that size limitation, unless maybe you upgraded
from Office 2002 or earlier and are still using the same data file.
Have you run scanpst.exe?

Reboot options, assuming Winxp
StartControl PanelSystemAdvanced TabStartup & recovery Settings Untick
automatically restart

Thanks DL
Been researching a little. My pst file has exceeded the 2 gig and I used
Microsoft's prog to reduce it but so far no success.Still get the message
cannot start Outlook..Cannot open outlook...
"Then reset the win options to not reboot on err" sorry but don't know
what this means.

Uninstalling / reinstalling does nothing to data, that been said its
unlikely to cure the problem any way.
Locate scanpst.exe, a hidden file, and run it against your outlook data
file (possibly named outlook.pst)

Then reset the win options to not reboot on err, that way you will get
the full msg on the BSOD screen, which may help in diagnosing the problem
