| .eml. Previous to the backing up these could merely be clicked on and would

| Now on clicking on one of these, error messages appear:

| "MSOE.DLL could not be initialized".

| OE works perfectly in all other respects and when I right-click one of these
| .eml files and choose "Send to/ Mail recipient", it works! OE opens up but
| with the file as an attachment. I would much rather have it "the way things
| were".

This behavior can occur if the attributes of any or all of the Outlook Express *.dbx mail files are set to read only
