Default blocked senders have disappeared

Clicking On 5.0 should give you about a dozen sub-keys. Are you sure you're
clicking in the correct identity? I have no explanation as to why it isn't
there.

Even though you have OE6, it still says 5.0 in the registry. If you were
posting using OE as your newsreader, I could give you a screen shot to look
at.

Go all the way to 5.0.

1.. In Regedit, navigate to this key:

|--HKEY_CURRENT_USER
|-----Identities
|--------{GUID}
|-----------Software
|--------------Microsoft
|-----------------Outlook Express
|--------------------5.0

where GUID is the Global Unique IDentifier for your Identity.

2.. Under that key, you will find the following sub-keys, among
others:

|-----------------------Block Senders
|-----------------------Rules
|-----------------------Signatures

Select the Block Senders Key and delete it. Blocked Senders will be
empty,
but you can rebuild it now.

Each time I sign off then on again in Outlook Express 6, my blocked
senders
list disappears.
I followed the directions :
|--HKEY_CURRENT_USER
|-----Identities
|--------{GUID}
|-----------Software
|--------------Microsoft
|-----------------Outlook Express
|--------------------5.0

but I do not have {GUID} in my registry after Identities.
Please help!

Thank you for your help..my problem is that after I click on Identities
in regedit, there is no {GUID}. My next lines a

Microsoft
Outlook Express
5.0
Clicking on 5.0 does not give me the subkeys :
Block Senders
Rules
Signatures

Since I have OE 6, does that make a difference in the registry keys?
Thanks
